The Rose & Lion,
The Rose & Lion is renowned in Bromyard for its warm welcome and fine quality beer. According to a recent CAMRA guide, it sets the standard for the town’s pubs.
Built in 1823, it became a public house in 1848. As far as we know, it's the only pub in England bearing the name 'Rose & Lion'.
Recent refurbishment has given the interior a contemporary look while retaining key traditional elements such as the flagstone floor. The outside has also seen numerous improvements and is a particularly pleasant place to partake of your pint.
Every December, the pub celebrates 'Parsnip Day' where the rent for the garden is paid to the brewery in the form of parsnips. This well-established event is not to be missed!
